Situation: doing a paper on how RFk dealt with the 1) Cuban Missile Crisis 2) Organized Crime and 3) Corrupt Union Officials and that it was for these that he was assassinated.

Problem: Cant find books that support my thesis. I'm trying to avoid right-wing authors, cuz they will probably disagree with me. I NEED ALL THE HELP. You can also mail me later if you come across something useful. (add me for that matter to ur contact). Ooooh .... and I cant use the INTERNET as a source, ONLY written sources.

I recently read a new book called Brothers: The Hidden History of the Kennedy Years. I've linked to it below.

It's primarily a book about RFK, mostly centered on the time of JFK's presidency until RFK's death, although there are a couple of chapters about his early battles with corruption and communism.

The book makes it clear RFK never bought the official JFK assination story, and spends quite a bit of time on his journey and decision to run for president. One of the prime motivators is so he can regain enough power to open new investigations into his brother's death, to complete his brother's goals of peace with the USSR, and resolving the cuba problem by settling differences.

The author of the book makes it clear he doesn't believe some busboy was solely responsible for RFK's death.

You'll have a hard time demonstrating your main thesis, since notwithstanding his making enemies of the Cubans, the Mafia, and the Teamsters, it is an incontrovertible fact that he was shot by Sirhan Sirhan, who was acting on his own agenda. His beef was that RFK was pro-Israel, and he (like everyone else) totally ignored the suffering of the Palestinian people. This ate at him, since RFK was presented as a friend of the poor and oppressed.

Don't look for conspiracies where there are none. Maybe you should get a new topic.

i've got on no account heard that concept, and ran in a crowd of folk who rather hated Nixon. Nixon had no ability in this united states of america on the time of the two assassination, so had no genuine way of masking it up, had he been in touch. We used to pay attention for all time that Lyndon Johnson had something to do with it--he hated the two Kennedys. there turn into actual a play in the process the Vietnam conflict noted as "MacBird." consistent with MacBeth, it posited that Johnson had had Kennedy shot so as that he might desire to turn into president. And whilst Johnson turn into in place of work, the two as President or Vice-President, JFK, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Bobby Kennedy have been all assassinated. because of the fact that then, no person. twist of fate? you confirm. in my opinion, i've got self assurance it this is been generic previous a life like doubt that Oswald shot JFK and turn into probably appearing by myself, in spite of the fact that consistent with danger on the instigation of Cuba. And that Sirhan Sirhan shot RFK and turn into probably appearing by myself.
