Because women especially never get enough air down there- and the darkness is like your shower- it breeds bacteria....going without panties to bed allows air where it should be--did you know in the early 1900's and way up into the 40's women never wore underpants unless they had their menses? and I bet there was a lot less vaginitis, cystitis and all the other funky infections out there now........oh, never take a bath....that dirty water goes up you know where, shower only.

Sleeping without underwear allows your genitals to breathe, your vagina has a natural Ph balance and sweating in underwear all night can interfere with it. In addition, unless your underwear are made of 1000% cotton, they are going to make you sweat anyway, which could lead to a yeast infection.

I can't imagine why anyone would actually sleep with underwear on!!!! I do wear pyjamas if it is cool but certainly not underwear. In summer I always sleep in the nude.

Yes, a lot of doctors reccomemend it actually! It allows your vagina to breath, a lot of women find that they have fewer yeast infections because they stopped wearing panties to bed.
