Well the first thing to do is to find out if you are pregnant... Then you can worry about dying your hair after that. If you are pregnant I know there are certain natural dyes, or something along those lines, that are safer to use during pregnancy.
Personally, if I was pregnant, I wouldn't dye my hair... but that's up to you.

First I think you should find out for sure if your pregnant by seeing your doc, coloring your hair will not hurt the baby at all but after your first trimester your hormones are insane and if you dye your hair then it is very possible that your hair may turn out being a really weird color.
My bf dyed her hair black when she was about 4 or 5 months along and it turned out a very noticeable dark green color!

If you want to carry on your usual routine and have your hair coloured during pregnancy, or colour it yourself, it's best to wait until after the first 12 weeks, as the risk of the chemicals harming the baby is much lower then.

The logical thing to do would be to get a pregnancy test or talk to a doctor, before freaking out.

it would be safer for your baby not to expose yourself to the chemicals in hair dye during your pregnancy. that doesn't mean it will cause birth defects, but it can increase the risks.

Hair is not "live" but dead and anything put on it is not sucked back into your system, so yes you can dye it without affecting a foetus

It is safe to dye and color your hair while you are pregnant. If it was not safe their would be warning labels and all kinds of stuff telling you to stay away from hair color and dyes during pregnancy! You are safe to dye your hair!
