-A toaster, toaster-oven, oven, stove
-A dishwasher
-A non-heated outside pool
-Two laptops (used daily)
-Two desktops (used daily)
-A desktop and a laptop not used daily
-A WRT54G v6 wireless router with high-gain antennas
-An SBC Speedbooster modem
-Lots of lamps
-Mostly fluorescent lightbulbs, a few incandescents
-Three bathrooms with showers
-No hot tub
-Heater, AC
-6 people in my household

its all that stuff being used at once plus the appliances if they arent energy star compliant they will use more electricity.try unplugging stuff when not in use. get those new energy saving light bulbs,and turn off any lights open the shades or cutains to let in natural daylight. and see if that helps but it always seems around the holidays they up the price of energy bills. also read your own meter(they have cards at the electric company to help you) because most places read your meters every 2 months so 1 month wll be accurate and the other month will be estimated. also have them check your meter that could be a problem if its an old one.

I would try not using the older fridge and see if that can lower things. Also try unplugging all the computer at night.

check your insulation in your attic you might not have enugh as its getting colder
