It will be really close I think.WVU just flat out dominated a 9-2 team that only gave up more than 19 points in a game this season once. When they are clicking on all cylinders, and don't fumble the ball away,I don't believe there is anyone who can beat them. However,Missouri has been impressive as well.Though both of their strength of schedules aren't really that tough.I think it could really go either way.

Sure both teams played a top 25 team today and won but Mizzou who was ranked #4 beat the #2 team. They deserve to jump over WVU for the #1 spot this week.

No, they won't. West Virginia is ahead of them - and they will stay ahead of them, but not by too much.
Strength of schedule?? Let's talk about it. Strength of schedule is the win/loss record of all your opponents to date. And yes, Kansas had 11 wins, but UConn had 9 wins - AND the first 5 opponents on West Virginia's schedule all won today + Miss St. That combined with the fact that Missouri will not jump WVU in the Coaches poll - and I don't think they will jump WVU.

yes, because computer rankings are a big part of it. they beat the number 2 team, & wvu beat the number 20 team. this is an oversimplification, but basically through the bcs, when you beat a team their victories sorta count as yours (through the mathematical weighting), & kansas had a lot of wins. your opponent's wins & ranking are the 2 biggest factors in the computers, & KU had both. plus, the other polls count towards the bcs, & i think the AP poll is going to put Mizzou number 1 because humans vote & that big time made an impression on voters, i.e. human beings lol.

It doesn't really matter because their whole season rides on the Big 12 Championship Game. They win that game they play for the title. If they lose it they don't. Today's BCS standings don't really matter that much in that regard. The real question is who's #3. It is probably Ohio State.

Yes. Missouri's strength of schedule was very close to West Virginia's already, and the win over Kansas should move them ahead. The margin will be very close, however.

Nope. Missouri beat an overrated Kansas team by a touchdown. West Virginia beat a #20 team by about 45 points.

Ohio St. vs. West Virginia....super 12 is a susceptible convention...Oklahoma is the ideal group in it. they'd definately preserve Mizzou subsequent week. Ohio St. will circulate up on Mizzou's loss...particular, yet another ideal 2 group will circulate down subsequent week..

maybe. Kansas has such a week schedule though and WVU did lay 66 on a ranked team. if it does happen it's only because the missouri Kansas game was on national televison. it could go either way. you know the pollsters don't watch all the games but all of them probably watched the missouri game.

It will proply be a poll by poll kinda deal, In the Ap, ware it is based on Voting, I would guess WVU, Cuz that was a barn burner of a game last night. In the BCS i see Miz being number one,
