Why is MEXICO so screwed-up?

If I land on Mexican shores in my sail-boat,,,I'm not aload to WORK for four or five yrs. or even more to help people prosper by starting a business/enterprise... I'll hafta wait till China takes over their cheap labor and try to take down the US $ some more.

How is it our problem that Mexico is economically in the shiite. It's a democratically elected government, but instead of trying to solve the problems caused by the unequal distribution of wealth, they just hop the fence and come here. Mexico is basically exporting their poverty to the U.S. so that we deal with it. I don't have anything against immigrants, My family came here when I was six years old. We waited in line and paid thousands in legal fees. As an American, i believe that we should get immigrants that will be beneficial to our economy. Immigrants with advanced degrees that will come to the U.S. LEGALLY and pay into the tax system like everybody else are the preferred. Mexico's issue is that they assume that they can send their problems to the North so that they don't have to deal with it. Ohh, and one more thing. I've read a little about Mexico's immigration law, If the roles were reversed, Mexico routinely shoots people trying to get into their country.

Mexico is our neighbor. Our poor neighbor. While the US has spent gazillions trying to buy the loyalty of other nations we have done dang little to really help Mexico.

Mexico is welcome to make any laws it wants yankees

This will all be moot in a few years when the entire planet falls to ruin.
