All the time. It is amazing to think that life could possibly exist. Set aside religion and science... the fact that this is a something instead of a nothing is pretty amazing.
Even more amazing is everything we're able to do, the fact that a little inanimate globe called an eyeball can show us almost everything there is to see, or a mass of energetic gray matter in your skull can store millions of words, names, faces, memories, ideas, facts, and can play back little movies for you, can repeat annoying songs for you... yet, it IS you -- or is it? I am a brain, or I HAVE a brain? If you HAVE a brain, then which part of YOU has it? It's weird to think about, because we're apparently the sum of our parts, yet if you begin to take parts of you away, at what point are you no longer "you"?
Anyway... I don't mean to write a book, so I'll just stop there.
