Bush is not responsible for everything. Just record budget deficits, record trade deficits, record consistently high gas prices, lack of an energy policy, increase in illegal immigration, increase in outsourcing of jobs overseas, lack of Katrina response and assistance, torture, illegal war in Iraq, illegal spying on americans, ignore the constitution and saying he is above the law in his 800 signing statements. You are right he is not responsible for everything, just the ones I list above and a few others.

I don't think it's just liberals that blame this country's ills on President Bush.
I'm not a strict liberal, however a lot of what is happening in the country today is at the feet of our President, George W. Bush. He his decision making for the betterment of this country has been atrocious. He's increased the deficit by record proportions, he's shredded our creditability with other countries around the world; he's allowing the rich to just get richer on taxpayer's dollar in the name of fighting a war; he is not any closer to catching OBL today than he was on 9/12. There are many things that could be listed and there is endless documentation of such acts. All of this is in the name of protecting our country from terrorism. HOGWASH!

I only blame George Bush for the bad decisions he has made. Is there some reason he should not be responsible for his bad decisions?
...No Child Left Behind - a horrible failure which is responsible for the poor school districts falling even further behind in academics;
...budget deficits - he borrowed billions from China for his war which has made us beholden to communist China and which our grandchildren will still be paying off when we're dead and buried; we will be paying for this war for decades to come;
...despite his promises he has done nothing to stop the flow of illegal aliens into our country. One of his first actions after 9/11 should have been to find a way to monitor our ports and protect our borders. He has done neither. He made a half hearted effort to monitor our ports by attempting to hand them over to the Arab Emirates. After the howl heard across America over that idiocy, he dropped the ball entirely.
...no one blames him for the hurricane. They blame him for dropping the ball on the response to the disaster that hurricane caused.
...no one blames him for the fact that Islamic fanatics hate us. They blame him for not completing our mission in Afghanistan against Al Queda before attacking a country that held no imminent threat. Consequently Al Queda has done nothing but grow in leaps and bounds due to the increased hatred for us in the Middle East.
Sorry, but he has not been a good President at all. He will not be remembered fondly by history, especially in regard to the mismanagement of this war. Which, according to him, falls completely in his lap - don't forget, he informed us all that he is The Decider.
I don't blame Bush for things beyond his control. There is enough within his scope of control to point to that makes that unnecessary. And not to put too fine a point on it, but I'm not even a liberal. There's a lot more than liberals out there who aren't happy with George Bush. Unless you think 65% of our population magically turned into liberals when you weren't looking.

They lack the brain power to examine complex issues and instead take the lazy welfare way out and just blame bush. My date stood me up for some reason so instead of getting mad I just blame bush it made me feel better and somehow its his fault though I have no proof of that.
The Democrats are responsible for the high gas prices with their preventing us from drilling in the oil refuges because they are beholding to their enviromental wacko left groups and the high taxes they place on a gallon of gas
Next time you fill up look at the burdening taxes on a gallon of gas
Liberals dont have the brain compacity or the intelectual honesty to admit they are the reason for high gas prices. Only a dimwit thinks its oil company greed
More illegal aliens have come here under Bush then any president and he calls those of us against illegals as unamerican. Bush is open borders and for that reason he is a failure but the democrat party wants illegals as the uneducated vote democrat
PS Id vote for That Guy if this was my question Im just sayin

He's certainly responsible for high gas prices (looking the other way while his oil CEO pals artificially jack up gas prices) since he is a former (failed) Texas oil man.
Democrats blame Bush for the botched *response* to Hurricane Katrina as the fed govt. dragged its feet getting the National Guard there. I thought "No Child Left Behind" was supposed to take care of all those educational problems.
Why do Neo Cons think Bush walks on water?

You need only look at the mentality of the average lib. They think with emotion... not with rational thought or fact. Their HATE for the President trumps any rational thought if they ever had it. Which is funny because they are supposed to be the "tolerant" party. It is just sad to see that their only response is "Bush's fault".
Elway... you realize that No child left behind was Bush's attempt to reach across the aisle and work with the Dem's. And that the author of that bill was Ted "the drunk" Kennedy? If you want to blame anyone... blame Ted... although, you may be right... I do blame Bush for backing Ted's moronic program.
True... I think he is spending way too much... so I am kind of on board with you on this one. Though the IRS is collecting more than ever thanks to the tax cuts.
I agree with the borders... he really wimped out on that... but you libs act as though this is suddenly a new issue... what did Billy Boy ever do about it... or anyone else for that matter... how did it ALL fall on Bush? Oh yes... the blame Bush for everything mentality.
Absolutely there were those who actually blame him for the hurricane. As for the response. It is a state issue first. Blame the local Democratic Government for their POOR ability to manage the crisis and request federal aid in a timely manner. Oh.... and the coast guard that was there helping from day one.... that is a function of the FEDERAL Government. Of course it could have been handled better once the federal government was called upon... but when you have a majorly corrupt city... you get what the city produces.
Sad that you libs think we are no longer fighting Al Queda due to the location of the war. We are still in Iraq... and believe me... get OBL will not make it all go away. Libs will complain if we were still only in Afghanistan and if we captured OBl... they would complain that we were still there and why does it take so long to eliminate a global terrorist organization which no one has ever faught before.
When the smoke clears he will be remembered in history as someone who had to deal with some of the greatest issues of our time in a single Presidency and not only did he have to face those issues... but he had to do it without the support of half of the US government who in their lust for power threw this country under the bus and this President just to gain their power. He will stand as a President who had the courage to stand for Freedom despite the appologetic and apathetic critics who's loyalties lie with the enemy. As you can see... I don't think every decision he made was the right one.... but name one President who made EVERY right decision?

Well, I can tell you why the democrats in congress blame him. It's because they're bitter. They're bitter about having to be in the minority for so long. They think Bush stole the election in 2004. And they think that he is an idiot.
However, I disaprove of most of the things our current president says and does. His policies are foolish. But much of the blame should no be placed on him, but rather, on the 107th congress.
It has to be one of the worst congress' in the history of the US. But, then again, it is easier to place blame on 1 person than on a whole congress.

Not enough space or time to make a complete list! By blaming our president it takes the attention off of themselves and keeps them from having to accomplish anything themselves!
