We aren't born to die; we're born to live. Each of us have a purpose in life, and we came here to seek that purpose out and fulfil it. Only then can we feel contented with ourselves that our time on earth was spent fruitfully.
I like to think of death as a time to rest, just like how each of us must sleep after a hard day's work. Dying isn't our main purpose in life. But having a satisfactory death would certainly be something we could 'aim towards' by leading a contented life.
Think positively, be patient, and be reflective. Your experience and thoughts will help you find your purpose in life. Build a firm value system for yourself and lead your life based on this. The answer to your question lies within you.

We come into life to love.
To love God with all our hearts all of our soul and we love Him first and foremost.
Then we love everyone else, enemy, friend, family, and strangers all alike. We love our neighbour as we ourselves would want to be loved.
So we are born; unlike other creatures we humans are born with a soul. That is our life!!! The soul. It is thought that the body we have has a soul, but it is a backward thought. It isn't our body that has a soul but rather our souls that have a body. The soul is born with our mortal lives when we travel down the channel of our mother's womb into this life.
At some point in this life the body gives up the ghost; it dies.
The soul doesn't, it sleeps till the Christ calls us. Those of us who are His sheep will hear Him. Those who are not His sheep will not hear Him and will remain asleep till the judgment day.
Between now and then my friend we are to love. That's what we came here for.

There is really no answer to this one. The only moment that exists is the present one. So you must always try to do your best with what you've got. The rest is truly all worthless speculation.

originally we werent born to die because adam and eve sinned they became imperfect and we being there offspring also became imperfect so instead of being perfect and living forever our bodies break down and we evertually die
