What is the weirdest conspiracy theory or political "rumor" you have ever heard?

I'm not talking about the standard fodder or really wide known stuff...

What is the most bizarre conspiracy you've had relayed to you?

I think one of the funniest ones was "Hillary stole White House Furniture".

It's funny if you know the roots of that story when it was being told about the first few Black diplomats who stayed at the White House... the conservatives used to say they stole the dinnerware... People still fall for it!

I saw one of those videos on Youtube where the guy says that the world is ruled by international bankers who are really 12ft tall shape shifting alien lizards. He later recanted and said the "shape shifting lizards" was code for the Jews.

I'm sure people believe him too...

I am a so called " Liberal Democrat"......

I've heard some interesting, some crazy, and some just plain weird conspiracy theories before but....

lately I've keep hearing this conspiracy theory about President Bush that he was behind the 9/11 attacks
so that he would have an excuse to invade Afganistan.

So my question is.... does anyone actually believe this C+ college student, who has difficulty pronouncing
every 5th word, somehow engineered the crime of the century, and in addition to that got at least 10-20
other like minded conservative religious republicans people to go along with it , killing 3,000+ Americans,
cost his own country hundreds of Billions, all so he would have an excuse to invade a country that has
absolutely nothing (not even oil), but dirt and a bunch of poor muslims? (Afganistan) .
And in addition to above, he did it so well that no evidence exists, just a bunch of conspiracy therories.

Now really, does this make any sense what-so-ever?

Bush blew up the World Trade Center. I couldn't believe even the most rabid Bush hater could believe something this absurd, until I found the website.
It's gotten so much attention that the History Channel actually did a show where they had experts in all the relevant fields going through the "theory" point by point to debunk the claims of the amateur bloggers who created it.
Next week, "G W was the second shooter on the grassy knoll", coming to a web site near you!

a part of the "Clinton murders" ring... where they were responsible for killing the two teens because there was some drug ring that they had something to do with...

I mean, I could see how some crazy person could make the "Vince Foster" jump... but that part of the whole thing is just humorous and blows what little credibility the list may have had out of the water...

That all world leaders are really aliens, but they appear human when viewed by the public, but they transform into some type of alien lizard and have secret meetings, where they meet in their alien form.
