I do.
We all want to believe, but everyone has doubts too. It seems pointless if there is no higher purpose. If there is no greater plan then we are just a cosmic accident.
They are starting to "kill" people and then operate on them. These people are literally dead. It is called "hypothermic cardiac arrest". Brain waves are flattened and breathing is stopped. One ladies experience (Pam Reynolds) with life after death is the strongest case known for such things. Look it up on the Internet. It is amazing and the details are totally backed by science.

I believe in life while living and judgment upon death. Just who does the judging I am not sure. I know some people really like dwelling on the spirit aspect after death but I think most of it is created by our desire to remember the loss. Recently my dog passed away and for the first two weeks I was still in the routine of coming home to him. I mention this because it describes how we adapt to death. We remember the person or animal and we remember the routine. When my mother passed away I avoided the laundry room because we always seemed to meet there just before her death. To put a closing perspective on it we need remember that we will never see these losses again in our lifetime and honoring them with respect is possibly the best thing we can do. Judging by the look on my dogs face when he died I doubt very much that life exists after death. When something so close to you dies in your arms, the last look is like oh crap I am going to miss you. I have had it happen twice and it was almost like a sign of honor. Once the heart stops the stiffness of death reminds you about the reality of death, remember respect, it is very important and it may be all we really end up with.

The great magicain, Harry Houdini, told his wife that if there were life after death, he would give her a sign. She never got a sign.
Everything in the universe has purpose. What would be the purpose of life after death? Besides, what kind of life would it be without a body? Does life after death apply to all animals or just man? Why?
There are more questions than there are answers and it does not matter what you believe because what happens, happens. People believe what they want to and it really doesn't matter.

Of all the things that you should be sure of, it’s your eternal destiny. To say "I hope I’m going to heaven" is like standing at the open door of a plane 25,000 feet in the air and, when asked "Have you got your parachute on?" answering with "I hope so."
You want to know so— and you can, simply by obeying the gospel. If you repent and place your faith in Jesus Christ, He will give you eternal life and you can know that your eternity is secure. Also the Bible makes it clear that those who refuse to trust in the Son of God can likewise know that they do not have eternal life—they will remain dead in their sins and be punished in Hell.
Hell is not a fun, hedonistic, pleasure-filled place where they can engage in all the sensual sins that are forbidden here. But Jesus said that it is a place of torment, where the worm never dies and the fire is never quenched. We tend to forget what pain is like when we don’t have it. Can you begin to imagine how terrible it would be to be in agony, with no hope of relief? Many people go insane if they are merely isolated for a long time from other people. Imagine how terrible it would be if God merely withdrew all the things we hold so dear—friendship, love, color, light, peace, joy, laughter, and security. Hell isn’t just a place with an absence of God’s blessings, it is punishment for sin. It is literal torment... forever.
I am 17 and do believe in life after death and talking to a "live" person on www.teenhopeline.com helped me not find it hard. You said you would like to... well, you can. Visit www.teenhopeline.com some night and talk to a person on there. I'll be praying for you. =)

God has put eternity in our hearts, and thus in creating us for fellowship and with a soul... there is most certainly life AND death after death. No, you didn't read that incorrectly. You see every single person who lives must reach an eternal destination. One way leads to heaven, life far beyond and more wonderful than this one. Another one leads to hell separate from God and thus leads to a second death. You can choose life, know God, and upon the end of this present life go be with God in one far greater. No ideology or wisdom saying otherwise undoes the eternal reality one iota. Choose life.... and join God's family in eternal life.

Absolutely! This is just a test.(Life on Earth). How can I prove it to you? I can't. Am I a 'sheepie' who just Believes because there must be something else beside's this? No! I'm a fortunate 'Nam combat veteran, an old gang member from KC, who should have been dead a long time ago. LOL! I have witnessed some amazing thing's that make me believe.
All I can tell you, is that it's real, and Jesus loves you, and is waiting for you.

I find it harder not to believe in life after death. Life after death is hope. Hope that the injustices in this life will not be ignored. Hope that good and bad isn't equal. Good should be rewarded and bad should not be left unpunished. All those murderers, rapists, and what not who don't get punished in this life, don't deserve to be spared. But it takes belief in a supreme being to believe in life after death. You have to do your own search, allow your mind to be open, and decide whether your life and your beliefs of now need re examination.

Yes. I find it impossible to believe that this is the end.
Everything is made of energy. Time, space, thought. This being the case, our consciousness is made of energy as well. Since energy cannot be destroyed, only change, life (in whatever form) must continue after we leave this fleshly vessel we inhabit during this sojourn.
Bon Voyage......

Yes, I do. I have heard that there are angels that look after us and I believe that. There are many things that have happened in my life and I do believe "but for the grace of God go I" And I like the thought that angels (who else but someone who has died) and that angel is my mother. Yes, I believe that life is in the form of angels.

I actually don't believe that there is life in the world after death. But when you die, your souls immediately go to god and you will have life and be alive there either in heaven or hell. You will be up in the skies.
