The Occupational Outlook Handbook of the US Department of Labor is the premier source for occupational information including training and education requirements for almost every job you can imagine.

http://www.bls.gov/oco/

In there you will find:
* the training and education needed
* earnings
* expected job prospects
* what workers do on the job
* working conditions

Look at the right side of the page to navigate through various occupational groups (management, service, etc...) or use the search tool in the upper right to locate a specific career.

One thing that may help you narrow your search would be a vocational interest inventory. This is a "test" that examines the sorts of things you might be interested in. Any school counselor, college career services office, or government employment service should be able to provide this for you for free. It's an excellent place to start your search because it helps to eliminate job groups that you're simply not interested in and also helps to identify many you've never thought of.

Just near your eyes and positioned your finger down at the record of majors provided by way of whichever college you'll going to. Seriously, youre going to spend the primary couple of years getting your gen. eds and ninety two% of all institution pupils difference their majors at least one time. Why dont you simply let us know what you are nterests are and allow the P&S men and women support you decide upon?
