my landlord...just opens the door n comes in...is this illegal?
What if i am naked? How can I tell her not to do this?

Just my two cents....but did she notify you when she would be coming? I mean did she call you, send email, or write a letter telling you to expect her. If she did, then I think she can just show up. Opening the door, itself, no. I would simply tell her that while you realize she is the landlord that you would appreciate her knocking and waiting for you to respond. I would go ahead and tell her that way it would avoid any embarrassing moments for you or her. Good luck.

I do not know what the law is for each state. to be honest i do not even know what the law is where i live when it comes to that. The leasing agent always give us at least a 2 day notice if someone needs to come in to do some work (unless its a emergency) and they always knock and if i do not answer they leave a note. i really do not think they have a right to just walk in. I mean you are paying for the place.

Ask people around your neihboor hood.No this is notright tell herto get out. Becuase it is not her house!! Or if u like her u can u now play with her fora while then let her go!

She better knock ahead of time! Do you keep your door locked? Ask her to not do that anymore. If you have a problem she needs to tend to, invite her then, and other than that she has no business in your apt. unless you invited her.

depending on the state, invation of privacy can be illegal....get a dead bolt.
