Okay, so I was absent for class because I got checked out. I went and talked to my teacher to get make up work. She didn't say anything about workbook pages.
So, a couple days later I'm sitting in her class and she says workbook pages are due on Monday. I raised my hand and said, "I think I was absent for those pages." She said, "Well, then you should've come and talked to me." I said, "I did come and talk to you.." She said that she's been reminding the class everyday about the pages (which she hasn't). I just say okay to end the conversation. So after class I ask if there's anything I can do to make up those pages and she just replies with a blunt "no."
Ahh, I can't stand her.. Sorry if this sounds all whiny and stuff but I guess I just have to vent or something..

I have been through the same old crap back in High school. Just remember next time to make sure to not depend on what the teachers say. Always ask a few friends what the assignment was. Since I am in college and if I have to miss a day, I never ask the teachers anything. I just ask about 3 different people what the assignment was. Remember Middle and High school are like training for college. In college there are no excuses. I really hope that this helped you my friend.

yeah, thats pretty harsh seeing as you couldnt do anything about it. but there are just some of those people you will have to deal with. so next time, try asking a couple friends or classmates if they know of any homework, because they would have been there.

Teachers can be mean like that sometimes.
I think that one of my teachers is bipolar. It sucks.
One day these 3 girls came in late and she literally pushed them out of the door and locked them out. Then she started yelling and cussing at us and saying that none of us have lives. So this girl got mad and said "actually i do have a life, i do a lot of stuff" and my teacher glared at her and said "im sick of all these smart @$$ remarks" THEN.....this boy said something funny to me and i smiled and my teacher goes "is that funny to you" (she was just talking about something) and i said "do i think what is funny" and she was like "what i just said, do you find that funny" i said No. then the boy who made me smile was like "oh it was because i said something to her" and my teacher said "no you didnt" and he said "yea i did" and then she yelled "NO YOU DIDNT!" and he was like "ok whatever" and he quietly said "ok i'll tell you later" and she walked away and then he looked at me and said "psssh...she thinks im gonna tell her later, yea right" (hes one of those funny kids that likes to make funny remarks. hes really funny) dont you think it was wrong of her to cuss at us? i mean, were 11th graders, but still!
Im so sorry for writing so much! i guess i had to vent too. i pretty much just wrote a novel, lol

Mines Similar.
Listen to me.
It's a lesson of working with difficult people, You have to act professional. And say everything calmly. This happend to one experience which was REVERSED.
The teacher said to me, while I was putting my grade for answers.
We grade our worksheets ourselves.
She said"why are you grading them? you were supposed to do it in the homework!"
I said, calmly, "Well, what you put on the board for assignment were the numbers and you never said check them at home nor wrote it."
She said, "OK."
If i never mentioned it, I would have gotten a zero. Always listen and make sure you have the information to prove her/him wrong.
Sorry fro blabbing, but helping out :)

Go to the guidance counselor. My daughter had a similar problem, and the teacher has done a complete turnaround.

She's an idiot who only became a teacher so that she could take out her pent-up aggression on people smaller than her. She's a bully. Be happy you're not like her.
