Where can we find information on foreclosures where we do not have to pay any fee.

County websites will often list upcoming foreclosure auctions (usually the sheriffs department website). Or you can call them directly for a list. That's the only real, updated, free list.

All other lists are based on these lists and the counties will have the most updated records without having to pay a fee. Just decide which counties you want to focus on, and look them up online and call the appropriate departments. That's much easier than dealing with other online public records places.

You can check assorted county land office websites. Some offer the information and others do not. They are not required to offer it online.

Other than that, there are no free sites. The sites which charge incur considerable expense in gathering such information in one place. They're not going to give away the information for no charge.
