Life is a journey not a race. You may lived a short "hero's life", but a meaningful one. A long old "routine lifestyle" can give you years in your life but not years worth remembering.
We all have one thing in common rich or poor that is one life to lived, So live it to the fullest with wisdom and passion and I think one life span is just enough for whatever dreams you want pursues...
Go out ,live each day like the last day of your life with no regrets only memories.Wake up each morning and open your gift which is your life...

Abe Lincoln was once asked if his legs were too long. He replied "A man's legs should be just long enough to reach the ground."
Well a man's life is much the same as long as you don't waste all your time that is. If you have made the most of every minute your life will be just right.

When you have no contrast in your life it becomes like a dull movie you are zombified in front of endlessly repeating itself. You so want to either change the disk, destroy the player or hope for a power failure just so it will shut off.
Sometimes someone offers to change it but you don't realize you've asked them not to and tell them to go away til its too late. But there is no rewinding that moment in your life. It probably won't ever repeat itself.

Intriguing question. If i knew just exactly how long my life was going to be, i could tell you really what i think. It troubles me to see little bitty kids who have terminal illnesses. That seems so incredibly and undeniably unfair. In their cases, life is indeed too short. But i would certainly not want to live forever. Have you ever seen the movie "Tuck Everlasting?" Great movie...i highly recommend it. It is about the drawbacks to living forever. Best wishes!

I'm 23 and I've been young foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... and so I intend to be young another foreverrrrrrrr lol I'll delay marriage up until my early thirties and kids into my mid thirties. Superb.
Ummmmm no I don't think life is short, maybe just for people who live in a rush to get to that one place always out of reach... more more more...
Just enjoy life as it comes, enjoy the process... just remember that we live in a process..

Life is going by really fast. And thats sad for me to say because i still fill kinda young. But as long as you make the best of your life without ruining it with doing somthing stupid that you will regret then you can fullfill your dreams.

What makes life PRECIOUS and PRICELESS is that it is short. What makes time GOLD is that life is short. Too short that many people will do anything they can just to lengthen their life. In a span of 70 years (human's life expectancy), you can't really do many things. Just look at Einstein, he wasn't able finish the GUT because he died.

It depends on who you ask.
The older you get, the faster it seems to goes.
This is a fact, because of the ratio of time you have been alive, (when you are 10 years old, one year is 1/10 of your life, but when you are 50, one year is 1/50 of your life, so it seems shorter).
Good luck !

Life can never be too short. It takes a lifetime before it ends. Isn't a lifetime long enough? ☺

Not really. We humans live much longer than most other animals, except for turtles. Whether we make the most of our time here on earth is a completely different story. But thats each individual's fault, isn't it?
