Eat for one thing.: ) My day feels more complete if I've either done something positive (cheer sombody up, help a patient get better, etc.), or do something creative (make a good drawing or painting, or write a poem).
Having my dog welcome me when I come home is a major factor in letting go of frusteration, she helps me feel more complete. Not having friends in my life makes me feel less complete, though.

There are so many components which seem required for a complete day but the one that supercedes all others - whether I'm well or sick, tired or amped, is that I must read before I go to sleep at night. I've been doing that since I was a little kid and if I don't I cannot sleep at night. If I (gasp) forget, I end up waking up in the night and have to read before I can actually sleep through the night.
