Sure. He is Italian. He is a very sweet guy and we broke up amicably. (I actually stopped thinking of him as a boyfriend.) Heck he even cooks for me and even invites me and some friends over for family dinner. Just because we don't go out anymore doesn't stop us from being friends. It could be an Italian thing. I think I have happy memories of him because he didn't pressure me about the usual things my other ex boyfriends pressured me about.

Awww, I have memories of my first "real" ex lol (I'm 16). I remember... it was the end of 7th grade year and for the last 3 months of school, people would always tell us that we should go out and he would always mess with me (flirts) a lot. It was weird in a way because during the beginning of the school year, we couldn't stand each other (but now I realize why...)! I remember on the last day of school we flirted like all day almost, and then we sat together on the "End of the Year Assembly" and played footsies in a way lol (I know it sounds elementary). We spent all summer on the phone, and when school started, we would walk each other to class and hold hands♥. I guess he wanted to impress his friends since he was getting "popular" and began to tell them that we were going to "do it" and that was a no go (I'm waiting until marriage). Then it got around the school quick, and he became more and more arrogant, and that was it! After a month, for the rest of the year and the beginning of 9th grade, he would try to make it up. Although that was my first love and I missed him, I really didn't want to go with him again, especially since it happened once before and he "appologized" and said it wouldn't happen again... It took me a while to get over him, and the good definately out-weigh the bad, but it was just the fact he was more into impressing his friends.

Yes, I certainly do have happy memories with my ex-boyfriend. He was awesome! He is my ex because he was like my shadow, a follower. He worshiped me, which was very flattering for a while, but soon got annoying which was not what I was looking for.

2 EXes 2 sets of memories. I wish nothing more that I could go back and correct the mistakes that led to the break up of my first marriage.

Thanks for reminding me of those pleasant memories

In my lifetime (I'm 67) I've had several ex's. I do have happy memories of all of them because each one contributed to my own growth and understanding of life.

of course! if I have dated a guy seriously, I always make sure I'm with a guy who knows how to make me happy. I know sometimes it just won't work out between us, but I want to know that after the relationship, I have some happy memories. I remember this one time when things were kinda rough, he took me to a date, but wouldn't tell me where we were going. he even blindfolded me till we got there. turns out, he took us to the beach and even dug out my bikini from my closet before we came. it was one of my best dates with him.
