I'm 13 and in the eight grade. I don't really need to call anyone though, only to call my parents if i'm going out with my friends. So should i get one in highschool??

i got my first last year on my 12th birthday, but most of my friends had had one by then. prepaid, though:[
but you should get one! if your parents are not sure, offer that you could get a prepaid, until they can trust you with a phone on their plan:] thats what my parents did!

i got my first one when i was 12. I bought it myself because my parents didnt think i needed one. Maybe you should buy yours yourself too....
