some will say tupac, biggie, others like that...and rightfully so
Jay-z isnt the best ever IMO, but he's been unarguably the biggest figure in Hip Hop over the past 10 years.....
its really hard to say...when you look at Jordan, you look at someone who has had strong influence, not just about the skills..it was what he brought on and off the court...Its hard to say anyone has had more influence, and more acclaim from fans worlwide (referring to jay-z)...i mean, u must be doing something right if ur 37 years old and u sold a concert out in less than 60 seconds

thats really one of those things that will probably never happen. People like to think that Jordan is the best ever, but you have real sports fans out there who will tell you Wilt Chamberlain is the best ever and they'll give you some good facts to back it up. The same goes for Muhammed Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson, so it really all depends on your preference.

Madlib. He could make a brilliant form of song beginning from Jazz to Soul to Tribal and so on.. and make it sound so beautiful all via utilising diverse samples that he suits mutually to make a masterpiece. His sampling is optimal and he rather set the regular for producer selection and sampling. DJ Paul for his consistency and his present to make bangers and how he makes vocal samples aside of the beat is so properly carried out. His way of utilising darkish bass types and eerie beat types set the regular for the Southern Underground in the present day. Lex Luger using fact he took the catch sound and more advantageous it further. His formulation is utilized in a brilliant form of regular Hip-Hop songs in the present day. DJ Screw using fact he perfected the screw technique and made it mainstream. The screw technique no longer basically gave be conscious to a brilliant form of rappers in Texas yet in addition spawned hundreds of C&S artists. RZA for taking growth bap and giving it a gritty side with outstanding use of samples and rather what you mentioned. BQ: have not heard it. BQ2: have not heard lots from him those days yet Elmatic became right into a brilliant mixtape. Love the stay recordings of the instrumentals.

Jordan like Jay-Z. Both are great, but overrated. And they both came back from retirement. Ali was best boxer (I know of) though, so I'd say either Biggie, Nas, or Rakim.

I don't think someone can go down as the best ever. I think someone can be on top and hold the torch, but eventually it gets passed on. 50 Cent is the king of making hit records, Nas is one of the best lyricists. To be on top you need to have a combination, which is why Jay-Z is on top. But Jay-Z is near the end of his career, which could lead to lil' wayne to be the next king of hip hop, with his unique voice which forces the beat to flow with him instead of wayne flowin' with the beat.

I will go by Jay since you made the comparison with MJ. Jay Z can have a concert not say anything, look into the crowd and see thousands of diamonds in the air. The impact he has made is unbelievable.
