he has kids wife and other family he says he doesn't associate with his wife but kids from previous marriage and his wifes daughter meen alot to him would it be selfish to ask him to be with me through at least part of the holidays or should i just buckle down and wait for him to come to me? don't get me wrong we have never been together and he stopped comingto my workplace so none of his friends would go to his wife and tell her about me he has family property that he would loose if she got the chance to take it away, attached to his closest relatives. he hasn't done this and it is new to him so he has problems getting away. he makes me like me and he can put a smile on my face over the phone i haven't smiled this much in forever but i'm alone.

Let me tell you that I just nursed a friend out of this situation and wished I would have spoken up sooner, so I'll say something to you. I know you're upset and he makes you feel great. But the reality is, sweetie, if he doesn't have time now and is concerned about leaving his wife because she'll take property or social ties will be broken, why would this change in the future? You're worth have the person that "makes you smile" saying "Merry Christmas" to you face-to-face right?

I hope you mean he is separated and getting a divorce from his wife but really that doesn't matter because he isn't over that relationship yet and until he does, you will always be in second place. You need to find new friends to be with new people to talk to, and you may even find someone you like better. I suspect you have low self esteem perhaps because he is able to make you smile more than you have before. I will give you a web site you should look at for self esteem, make a lot of new friends and not spend time alone waiting for someone who may never really be ready to commit to you ahead of what he had in the past. Well HELLO your alone because he is a married man, which means you are nothing more than a little spice when and if hes in the mood. You talk about all the things he would loose, he deserves to loose it all because he is a CHEATING LYING bas*ard. As for you dont expect anyone to feel sorry for you, you knew he was married before you started this, so take what you get. If you dont like waiting because he is with his family then have enough courage to do the right thing. tell him its over and move on get someone who is single and can be with you.

HE'S A LIAR AND A CHEAT. Run as fast as you can away from this man. He is cheating on his wife, and he will cheat on you, too. I'll bet you don't have his home number and his address, right? I'll bet you only have a cell phone number for him. I'll bet you don't meet his friends and family. He is lying to you and using you. Do NOT continue this relationship. There will only be heartbreak for you. If you continue, you will always spend the holidays alone, and your birthday, and Valentine's Day. Find a good man who is available, you deserve better than this.

If I'm understanding this right, you want advice on how you can get a married guy to cheat on his wife and family and spend time with you over the holiday. Unreal. Where is yourself respect? Can't you set your sights on someone who is available i.e. not married. Don't you get it? Getting involved with him is setting yourself up to be the little honey on the side who never sees him on holidays or in public. That's why they call it the 'other woman'---she comes third behind his kids and wife and sometimes fourth if he spends time with his parents.

are you the PIECE on the side? food for thought. he will never have time for you on the holiday sweetie. it is all about his FAMILY to include his wife. let that man alone and just be by yourself because you are by yourself anyway. sweetie please know that you are not the first piece on the side and you wont be the last. and know that he is not leaving his wife for you or no one else for that matter. find you a single free and available man to spend you time with. Please don't waste another minute allowing this man's lies to make you lonely and miserable. Go out with friends, invite friends over, go volunteer to help prepare or serve meals at a homeless shelter, do anything but sit around alone waiting for this cheater to come through for you. He won't.
