Can olive oil be used as a spermicide? I heard some different things and was wondering if anyone knew if it were true...
if you do know, PLEASE support it with some facts and web sites...

No. It's not a spermicide. It's a good way to get pregnant.

Olive oil is not a spermicide, do not use it unless you want to become pregnant.

For example, Discovery Health lists one article to improve the chance for pregnancy. It said that rather than using commercial lubricants like KY (which may have spermicide in it) use natural products like olive or vegetable oil. Inferring that the oils don't.

And please, if you're looking for a product with spermicide, don't try using KY (for example) as a subsitute. Use the products that are specifically designed to protect you - like condoms or birth control.

It does the exact opposite of what you are thinking...It is reccomended by doctors for lubricant...There is an over the counter spermicidal that you can by at any pharmacy called Del-fen

don't think so but olive oil does make a pretty good lube I've used it to jerk off with a bunch of times
