How can one explain the complete ignorance of husbands on why their wives file for divorce? Eg. Hulk Hogan?

I'm not so much amazed that he doesn't know why it happened. I think a lot of people don't really understand why their partner isn't happy. They just know that they aren't. They may even try to work things out. The two of them did go to therapy together on their reality show, although it was only shown in one episode and might have just been a stunt for the show.

My amazement comes from the fact that he didn't even know that she had done it!!! A married couple should talk every single day! Did it not come up??

Hulk: "Hey honey. What did you do today?"
Wife: "I filed for divorce. And you?"

I don't understand how that could have possibly gone without being communicated. I'm thinking that maybe she told him she was going to do it, but he thought it was just a threat and didn't take it seriously.

Some men lose touch with and communication with their spouse over time. It becomes more habit than active relationship.

They were oblivious to or apathetic about the fact that the relationship wasn't working well beforehand. So, when the whole apple cart gets upset, it's like a splash of cold water. *

He would not be good example because his Wife wasnt woman enough to tell this man what was going on and her plan to divorce him. she totally blind sided him. now thats ignorance and selfishness on her part. alot of women say one thing but than do other she how is a man supose to really know whats going on if the woman dont know herself. its called mix messages.
