I am an only child. My parents and I don't see eye to eye, it's hard for me to talk to them about anything. i have no really good friends to give a supporting shoulder. So what do I do?

You must become happy with yourself, and the person you are. Once that accomplishment is achieved, others will come and love you for those same reasons.
No one can make you wonderful to be around but you. Bless Toots, I know what it is to feel alone too. I grew to love myself, before I expected others to love me back, Mom and Dad included.

Some people are saying make more friends`? You must make the right friends` , you just can`t accept everyone for face value in this day and time . Make sure there are many things`you have in common with a new friend ! Focus on why you are here . Concentrate on your dreams` , study , and know who you really are inside , not what you wish to be just to make friends` . Life is a mystery , so it wouldn`t hurt to start reading The Bible . The Bible is your best friend and it will never leave you , doubt you , or forsake you like worldly false friends will . The Bible is your road map to direct you down the road of life ! As long as you know there is a difference between something being right , and something being wrong , and you base your decisions` in life on the "right" things`, you will never be lonesome , and true friends` will be drawn to you .

i feel the same way sometimes...well..all the time...i feel that no one likes me...i feel that yeah, maybe sometimes people do like me, but only when they need something. they ask me cuz they know i will bend over backwards for any single one of my friends or even ppl who arent even my freinds...ppl i dont even know!...im just that type of person...i feel that im not needed at times tho...that im just a burden to people. but then i think about the One person who does need me and who does se me as important,,,and that is Jesus Christ...i mean after all, I guess I'm important enough for Him to DIE for me!!! And you are too! Because He died for you too! You should try talking to Him sometime...maybe thank Him for what He did for you! Anytime you feel down, or lonely. just look up and know that you are NOT alone! I feel that we might be around the same age...so just know this...I am right there with ya! and so is God!!! ALWAYS and FOREVER!!!

I feel that you should write in a journal about all your feelings and you should get a pet.... as time goes by you will meet some new people and you won't be thinking your lonely anymore. I want you to know that your not alone.... and you are not the only one who feels that way. Everybody has a time in their life when they feel alone. It happens for a reason.

write in a diary. explore your town or your area, try to meet people who are like you. sometimes your best friend is sitting right under your nose and you don't even realize it. open your eyes a little bit wider. realize that this is our one and only life as ourselves. try to meet a new person each day.

You might consider adopting a pet, if you can take care of one. Dogs usually love attention, and affection, so they cure lonesomeness. Good luck!

i can relate. i have family and friends but i still feel lonely at times. so try to talk to people online to make urself feel better.
what i do is write, write , write to get all my thoughts and feelings out. good luck. remember that God is always with you dear.

Find out yours hobbies. try to developed them. make pen friends and on internet and try to show your parents that how much you love them.

are you in school? if so then make friends with other students in higher grade so they can help you out.you can talk to your teachers and spend more time praying.
