I agree that it is a lie being sold by their leaders such as Al Gore who is making a bundle of this scheme. Believing that they are "part of something" to "change the world" makes them feel good, global warming has become a leftist religion because they have no true spirituality and have bought into this cult.
It's about them selling a fake economy of carbon credits. WE are carbon, as is all life, carbon is not a poison.
Trout if the discussion is that we are running out of resources and need to develope and improve new technologies, yes I completely agree and more than agree. I do not believe the whole global warming thing, and if there is warming it is part of the natural cycle. Using extremist "sky is falling" tactics to try to do something about it is a lie and not honest and productive.

I live in the deep south and in june up into july it was cold, we actaully had to light the heaters. Normally in Jume and July we are sitting on the porch sipping mint julips, naw, but seriously it's doggone hot, in the 90s. It didn't get hot till August and it wasn't the 99 degree stuff, so we must have had some Global Cooling in those two months. I talked with old timers and they never remembered it being so cool.
can you imagine having t turn on a heater in June here? No way. So I am sure since we moved ll the business to china they are really turning up the pollution, with all the lead stuff they are putting out. jBy the way you know when unleaded first came out it was 5 cents higher than regualr, but the fact was that they had to put lead in the other gasoline, so unleaded was cheaper so don't know why they are doing tht.
That said, just like the $2 a pair Mike Jordan tennis for $99,which was a rip off, how come the doll cost $25 and only cost $! to make plus the poison paint. Where is all the money going? Shouldn't the earnings be a heck of al lot higher?
You might think these fruitcakes would at least raise cane about the VA system also. Take care.
You may not be old enough but do some research on the early 70s and the "Ice age" that was coming, no joke at that time it was going to be an ice age and not enough to keep us warm. Go figure.

The globe is getting warmer
The argument is about cause
No matter your opinion on that cause - it stands to reason
Oil is not in infinite supply wether it causes global warming or not one would think that trying to replace it before it ran out would be a good idea
One would further think that - since burning coal and other petrolum products is not good for us to breath in one might want to get on the "we want better air" compaign trail
Oil dependance has in the past and even today left us open to an onslaught of problems - it would seem that one who prizes a soverign nation would support somthing that would steer us away from dependance on the good will of another nation(s)
If the above seems in whole or in part to you a lie
Then get a large bucket and fill it with cold water - Add ice cubes and
Insert head - shake well and re - read the answer
Repeat as needed

There are many truths to the liberal side of global warming, and their are many truths to the conservative side in my opinion, each makes a really good argument. Oil companies now are starting to promote that they are becoming "green" at least in some of their commercials. I do believe we should live our lives as we see fit, and not have other people tell us how to live it. But I dont see why its a big issue to conserve just a little bit more, than we are doing now? Such as recycling, taking public transportation now and then, and turning off an extra light here and there.

When another cooling trend like the one from 1936 to the 60's begins. Greenpeace and other eviro groups were warning of the oncoming ice age in the 60's. Laughable really.

In the first place, global warming is not a lie. Stop being so blind. Read your bible, everthing is coming into place. Go ahead and keep those blinders on. It's not you that is going to suffer. Hope you don't have any kids.
God Bless our Troops. Bush hasn't killed enough of our people yet. He's working on it, as many as he can get before he is out of office. I can't wait!

I finding it fhilarious that gags like Al Gore and John Travolta preach to people about "conserving energy" and "buying hybrid cars" and then they fly around in private jets, own 30,000+ sq. ft. homes, and own more cars than an average neighborhood. Hypocritical buffoons.
I support the troops 110%. Time to kick some Middle Eastern grass.

They won't because Al Gore is making too much money off of the Global Warming movement and Al Gore must be right in everything he does. Truth means nothing to ideologues.
