i think he is one of the most complex character in the book. i always hated him because he hated harry, but then in the end, we all saw his great nature, and it definitely changed the way i feel about him! wuhoo snape!

He was still a jerk. He still joined the deatheaters and killed at Voldemort's request. He still terrorized an orphan just because he didn't like the kid's father. He also went out of his way to terrorize other kids in the class.
He was a small person who was never completely able to rise above his own petty selfishness. My biggest problem with the whole series is that Harry named his kid after him. I could understand Harry forgiving Snape and even finding some peace because Snape loved his mother, but no way I'd ever name my kid after him. (or Dumbledore either, for that matter.)

He is evil ever since the 1st movie when harry was just merely playing that game on his broom stick. I think he deserves all the pain in the world.

i still think he was a big jerk but after i read the last book i really felt sorry for the guy it was a big shock that he was actually kind of nice and not on voldermorts side in the end
