I would not define PC as respectful and polite. It may have started that way but now it's just a ridiculous game. The dems claim to be the party that is open minded, loves everyone and is soooo tolerant. The problem is they are only open minded and tolerant of you IF you agree with their views. I think the PC crap is way out of control. I try to be un PC whenever possible. Thanks for the question.

If being PC is being respectful and polite, then yes, and there is nothing wrong with the democrats being respectful and polite.

Also, last I checked, the democrats won the 2006 mid term elections,

so may..be the republicans could stand to be a tad more respectful, occasionally polite, and a little less angry.

Respect is something that everyone should have learned from their mother anyway. Too bad people delight in doing other wise.

Something to do with having an unnaturally close relationship with one parent or the other.
