Willliam- thx!
Really liked Battles! I knew the drummer from Helmet (who I love). Bizarre vocal treatment! Catchy!

thx sarah
I own 1 SB cd- 'V'. This was a good one. Def' reminded me of Genesis.
I gotta hear more of Beulah. So far, everything I've heard connected to the Elephant 6 is good stuff. Makes me wish I was hip on the indie scene in the 90s!

Emily-
thx!
Always liked 'Would'. AIC is my other fave 90s band next to Nirvana.
I thought I'd like the Megadeth tune more. I expected it to rock.

Thx. Only thing I really liked about the Drowning Pool tune was the chorus. Drag about their singer though. I was reading about them while I listened.
Rammstein isn't really my cup ' tea. But it totally reminded me of Zeppelin's 'Kashmir'. Nearly the same beat & approach. Guess their influence is still noticable.

Dani-
Really enjoyed Ned's Atomic Dustbin! & after sarah's Spock's Beard, that's the 2nd Rickenbacker bass I've seen tonight! They always make me pay close attention! :) Funny how some videos from the late 80s/early 90s seem a little dated now. All those colors. Almost looked like one of the Spin Dr's vids.
Low Fidelity Allstars- funky stuff! Not bad.
thx! :)

Really liked "Manager"! I love the "indie" sound.
Never heard of Marine Girls. Guess they never made it Stateside. The song was ok. One look at the vid' & I knew it was 80s. lol!

YouTube isn't working for me right now...I'll come edit this with the links...okay just recently discovered off of last fm Nat JM...I like the song "Manager". Next, Marine Girls "A Place in the Sun"...again, I'll post it later.
Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hVtlL0jfiE and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5X93cC4uVf4 The second video's sound quality isn't too good, but I think I think it's worth listening to nonetheless.
