About 90-110 for all is considered "average." That means the exact average is around 100. This of course is from the Weschler (sp?) tests, which are what most people use. The difference between men and women is that men are on average around 2 points higher, not very significant. Teenagers are the same as adults, unless they are very young. In that case they take a child's IQ test, that's made to measure children only and has the same average scores.
But... If you took a real IQ test it should say this with your results! Internet tests are not accurate... you need one administered by a psychologist.

Although it's technically supposed to be 100, the average in the United States is 98, while the UK has an average IQ of 101 and Germany, 102.
EDIT: People who score above 160 generally don't mention that people who score above 160 don't mention it, without mentioning that they usually wouldn't. Or something. :P

From
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iq
"The scale, properly speaking, does not permit the measure of intelligence, because intellectual qualities are not superposable, and therefore cannot be measured as linear surfaces are measured. (Binet 1905)"
That said: the IQ score is measured and then they grade the average with 100, anything above 100 is above average. If you took a good test, your score was adjusted to your age and gender.

The I.Q. score doesn't change much at all thru your life. The smart you are now will be there always. Unless you fall off a motorcycle on your head, you know..I was shocked to learn that the average U.S. I.Q is about 108. Shocking! almost frightening. So, there you have it.
