I am currently a high school and I am exploring my options for college and I was thinking the other day that I love to fly. I am currently working on my Engineering Degree and Business Degree. I would love to do both but still undecided yet. But I was thinking that it would be great to fly and see other places while doing business or engineering. If anyone can please tell what field i would need to go in to and what company's i need to be looking for.
Thanks so much.

It really depends on where you want to travel, how often. It also depends on what you consider decent money. There are so many. Actor, Model, pro ball player, a buyer for a large retail company, Pilot, Talent agent, Travel agents, Real estate investors, importer/ exporter. It really depends on what kind of enginerring you are taking. Right now there is a huge demand for alternative fuel engineers all over the world. You could free lance and work on a contract basis. I have traveled all over the world for work, made decet money but had no stable social life. I got snowed in, rained in causing me to slept at may airports etc. It really depends on how and where you want to go. I traved with race teams all over the Us for 3 years and was only home 2 weeks out of the year. Yes I had money, I had a nice house but I had NO i mean ZERO social life that lasted. I had a very nice custom designed home built. I paid a huge amount of money on but was home so little I could never use it. My advice is to be a good engineer market yourself, learn to fly and buy a share in a plane. You should get Donald Trumps book because you will learn what its like to travel. I have a cousin who is a fashion model. He is always complaining he is never home very long. He says no to some jobs. He told me that after about the first two years of traveling doing shoots or commericals he was happy to be going home. He makes what I think is decet money (3+million ) a year. Good luck and email me direct if you wish with your specific questions

i agree Bala sir answer but the tamilnadu people, the tamils are great in tolerating the misrule which everyone see before their eyes. A politician will get bribe, corruptive but a whole family is corruptive here. Wonderfully, kanimozhi's office servent a grade 4 employee buying lands of voltas at mount road, now anna salai. where from he got money ? what he earned on what works ? The grand sons are unemployed but taking movies investing crores and crores of rupees. where they employed and how they earned money ? This is what JJ saying family rule. i read one joke from a magazine. The family will lock their home and go to Assembly and parliament since all are ministers or MLAs or MPs. Mr.Cho Ramasamy in his annual Thuglak meeting said that he never saw such a corruptive family anywhere in india or other part of the world.

A cargo pilot with UPS or Fedex makes $110,000 a year but,it's usually graveyard shift on domestic routes.Cargo pilots make more and don't have to deal with unruly passengers.Aeronautical Engineers aren't in very high demand because of the slow economy and budget cutting. You could also be an aircraft mechanic or aeronautics technician working on radio, radar,GPS,etc.

Personally, I wouldn't want a job where I HAVE to fly when they tell me. There are a number of business jobs, especially sales related, where they expect you to fly for classes or other things. When you look online for job offers, type in "willing to fly" or something similar, and you will find jobs where you will get to fly. Good luck!
