The Bears should have kept Jones, but all that would change is that the Bears' offensive coordinator would under-utilize two good running backs, instead of just one like he is now.

So easy to blame one player when you have so many problems, Jones was a good player, but Benson is not the only problem this year.
You are right, most of the 89 yards vs seahawks came in the 1st half, because in the 2nd half Benson didn't carry the ball that often, that tells you how bad the offensive coordinator is.
Benson is playing well = give him only 11 carries
Benson is playing bad = give him 29 carries
I blame the offensive coordinator more than Benson. and I also blame Angelo for not addressing the aging O line in the off season. After all a RB is as good as his oline.

Definitely a trade that hurt both teams. Jones can't do anything in New York and Benson can't do anything in Chicago.

it would be nice to still have Thomas Jones, but I blame the offensive coordinator more than Benson.

They have been making poor decisions period, as of late. Two words--Rex Grossman. That was a HUGE mistake to let him play again. It was also a bad idea to give up Thomas Jones. He had edcent yardage and carried them into the Superbowl game. He was always a dependable option to the pass.
