Because when you tell people that it is less than lethal they think it can be used indiscriminately.
Now they have people dropping dead on them and don't understand why.

the officers have to use it on each other in the class room but these are all athletic healthy people.
When used in the line of duty there is no telling the physical condition the person is in and electricity reacts stronger on some than others.

The use of Tasers in Canada (same as in the U.S.) should be reviewed. They seem to be used a little to quickly.
They should be used before guns not b4 talking it out
