My 14th birthday I babysat for some neighbors. After I had been there a while I noticed the younger 3 all had spots popping up on them. It was chicken pox and I hadn't had them yet! The gift that kept giving for 3 weeks!

When I turned 25, I had plans to go out to a restaurant with my boyfriend that I'd been dating for a few months so that my parents could finally meet him. I really liked him and was hoping my parents would, too. We got to the restaurant and waited and waited. He stood up not only me, but my parents, too! I was so embarassed! That was the end of that relationship. (P.S. It turned out he was an alcoholic and I didn't know it.......he was at a bar getting drunk.) Happy birthday to me!

my "sweet 16" mom completely forgot it was my birthday. no party, no presents, not even oh, yeah, happy birthday.
my oldest sister (10 years older than me and was already married with 2 kids and living in another state at the time) was the only one who remembered. she called the day after and said she forgot to call yesterday to wish me happy birthday.

I've never had a bad birthday. My birthday is on Christmas on day.

It was the big 40, I was so depressed and none of my friends or family were around, I cried all day but by the next day I was fine and it hasn't happened since!! It was only the 40 I guess!!

If 'am still alive, there isn't anything that can beat that. It's all about me on my birthday. It's not even about the presents or cards or anything. Being dead is thw worse. till then, I live it up on my birthday, every January 5.
