I think the being taken advantage of hurts more.

You know, after thinking about it, I have to change that to being taken for granted.
You are taken advantage of by strangers. So you learn a lesson and are able to see it coming the nest time.

Loved ones are more likely to take you for granted. The sense of familiarity. The more I think about it, I think that it is worse.

Being taken advantage of. When someone is being taken advantage of they are simlply being used. The other knows what they have, they are simply reaping the benefits. When you are taken for granted, the other person does not know what they have. They are used to you. They won't know what they have until it's gone. So, being taken advantage of is done purposely and in spite, definately worst.

I think if your "love" to a certain person is being taken for granted, it hurts more than just being taken advantage.

For Granted, you can stop being taken advantage of by stop doing what you are doing i.e. paying all the time, etc ....to stop being taken for granted, you have to end a relationship.

Take for granted means to use, accept, or treat in a careless or indifferent manner
Take advantage of means unfairly, as by exploiting a weakness

soo...with that said, i believe that taken for granted would hurt me more, but its actually hard for me to answer this question b/c life hurts in general.

this is an answer coming from a teen who had an abusive childhood...although i am depressed and most of the time emo, i'm not inferior to anybody else in humanity. i c myself as a successful business women sometime in the future, making my own family, and just staying on track...
but, however, somtimes i c myself as a parent jus like my own [which i would never want or choose to be] i also c myself in a bad situation where i can't get my career started b/c i may not graduate @ the right time...
Sooo many things scare me in life & the biggest thing that scares me is someone or my family being able to take me for granted or look down upon me as tho i am nothing.
i sure want to succeed and i believe that if u try hard enough u can or will.

Being taken advantage of. Because people don't take others for granted on purpose. If someone takes advantage of you, it's more malicious. Someone can love you but take you for granted. Only selfish people who don't care about you will take advantage of you.
