I would like to see a picture if possible. I think it'd look like pellets

Hmm.. Weird, the squirrel I rehabbed had poop that was long and cylindrical like rat poop..

I've kept a pet squirrel before. It's dry and long shape. Like a grain of rice. & it's black or dark brown in color. But it's bigger then a hamster's poop.

We have gray squirels here, they leave the pellet kind on top the recycle bins.

i think squirrel poop would resemble rabbit poop.
