Are just some of the "common fillers" used in a conversation to indicate pauses in their thought process when speaking.
Also, I think by doing so he/she will give the listener a moment to acknowledge or affirm with a nod or a sound. Most of the time he/she doesn't realize they are even saying them. Bab habits are hard to break.
Some people use the "fillers" after 6-7 words. Now, that is very annoying.

prolly cause American language is full of slang & borrowed words and is difficult to comprehend to non Americans you know is bond word, means you understand even if nothing was said and or you don't have the slightest clue what the person is saying ... as for the bond word its a word that includes you in a 1-1 convo or a group convo

possibly because instead of listening to what they were saying, you were listening for something to criticize....
