I like the flying cars. Espcailly the one from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. There is also a flying car in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Although flying cars is my favorite, Jackie Oh! and (the other) David M really choose the right issue. I'd go a little bit farther than just Iraq and restoring our place in the world. We need a radical re-examination of our foreign policy. Getting us out of Iraq is the most critical immediate need, but that's short-term. There will never be peace in Iraq or the mid-East without serious lasting talks among all parties. If a nation will not engage in lasting peace talks, they should lose our support. We need to re-assess how we choose the nations of the world we support and oppose. We have lost our sense of morality in that regard. If a dictatorship, no matter how brutal, is economically helpful--we support it. The Saudis just jailed a woman who was raped for heaven's sake! How can that be ok with us? We cannot export democracy. It can only be imported by willing nations. If we have any moral standards left, we should re-examine our foreign policy in that light (and get flying cars, too).

The first order of business should be an agreement to not run, or to disavow, any attack ads. No more of this 'she's a commie', or he's a bozo or any of that. This election is no joke. It's very possible that the entire history of the next 50 years or more hangs on the public policies of this country. We need to know exactly where each party stands of a variety of issues. If the entire campaign hinges on red herring and ad hominum arguments then the only candidate we'll get is the one who's best at insulting the other. Stick with the issues. State your case and support your thesis. Don't bring 'Jesus' into the argument. Jesus isn't an american citizen. Put the country and the American wage-earner first. That's the ticket!

Priority Number One. Getting Bush out of office and making sure no other War-Loving, Aggressive, Power-Happy person is elected to take his place. When this is done, the other issues will fall into place. The military will be withdrawn from Iraq. Talks will begin with Iran. Other countries will return to helping us chase down potential terrorists.

This one move, electing a true world leader, will start us on a path toward solution of many foreign and domestic issues.

#1 priority has to be getting the military out of Iraq safely. That has to be first. We've wasted too many young American lives for nothing more than oil and money in a war based on lies.

Reclaiming our place as the ideal that the world looks up to. This includes getting out of Iraq, ending state sponsored torture, and restoring the Bill of Rights.

Health care, because the Democrats have this policy to come up with $90-120 billion to pay for those who do not have health care. Which is cool except that in order to do this the Democrats want to get rid of Bush's tax cut. So there has to be another way for those who can not afford decent health care to get decent health care without raising every body's taxes too much.

The focus should be on bringing a sensible end to hostilities in Iraq.

I think the war and the larger picture of foreign policy is our most immediate concern. We have to get a foreign policy plan that people can agree on and implement. The world is more and more dangerous and George Bush is the reason.
