im trying to use a windows live messenger program. it wouldnt let me sign in and said my firewalls may be blocking the program. i thought i turned them off.. but when i try to sign in it still wont let me. im using a laptop wich is connected to a wireless system throughout the home. please help me! its support important i geet on this program now!

Rather than turn it off, leave it on and find out how to get the messenger program to go through it. In fact, given your description, it may already BE going through it and having trouble outside.

If u have a AntiVirus program it can have its own firewall.. u can try turnin tht off.. or a safer way is to find the prot # and IP Adress for messenger and and use it to unblock its from firewall.
