Well I have been married 12 years.we have had our ups and downs like everyone.Well I can't figure out why hes always picking on me like I sat down by him tonight,and he head butts me in the side of my head.I was like what the heck, hes like ahhhhh,so i slapped him not hard but just paying him back,he gets up and goes to bed. I don't understand the way he acts.

no he does stuff like this all the time and it hurts most of the time.

He needs to realize the difference between you and a football player. Maybe you should tell him in no uncertain terms how you feel and that it hurts. He is behaving very immaturely. Hey..I know...let him read the responses you get from this!

OK, I will play nice - maybe he is looking for attention. That is why the 5-year old does it. You need to let him know he needs to be gentler, but it sounds like he was lonely or troubled and wanted some interaction. So when you just smacked him, he went off to sulk. Go ask him "what's up?" If you are busy and the days are long it can be hard to make time for snuggling or talking and a guy with a problem or a concern might even need some of that some times. Go see if he wants to talk or bang - he has something bothering him. If he is being mean, then you need counseling, but it sounds like he needs to talk to you about something or he is lonely.

Does he have football on his mind? Maybe he was acting out a play....
It isn't very nice to do this at any rate....If my husband head butted me on purpose...I would slapped him into next week....
