They haven't faced any real competition yet, but you have to give them all the credit in the world for being the only undefeated team in the country now that Kansas is getting destroyed. The way I see it, we just don't know how good Hawaii is. They just might be even more overrated than KU or UConn, or they might be the best team in the country. I don't care if they barely got past Fresno State and Nevada, the fact that they won is the only thing I care about, plus the fact that they humilated ASU in its bowl game last year. Hawaii knows how to win, and I think they deserve some respect now. Seriously, Colt Brennan has never been stopped in his entire career. He may throw some picks here and there, but no one has ever shut him down yet.

We don't know how they would do with a SEC schedule because they haven't played one. But so far, they've been winning every game that they should have, and that they shouldn't have, like Boise State. In fact, they've just been winning every single game that they've been playing. Could this team be really overrated? Probably. But could this team actually be this good? Maybe.

You have to give them credit for going undefeated against the weakest schedule in the country.

They don't belong in the top 10, and won't be there come Sunday.

i think of that's a down 3 hundred and sixty 5 days for the super 10 so no longer unavoidably. even however, final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, repeatedly, the so-stated as analysts might vote Duke (considered one of my communities) #a million and then say they do no longer look to be the ideal group interior the country. So, i might take my #a million with a grain of salt. in my view, the ideal group interior the country--win or lose--must be the #a million ranked group. who's #a million? i do no longer understand. there is a brilliant number of sturdy basketball being performed precise now. i think of everybody interior the ideal 10 has a valid shot of triumphing the NCAA experience.

I hear ya buddy..

I have often said that Hawaii may have often been playing down to their competition. You just don't know what would happen if they play a great team.

I think the way this year is playing out. Especially with Kansas getting beat...that if Hawaii beats Washington next week convincingly, they should be in the title game against West Virginia or Ohio State. period.

And it is sad that nobody even mentions Colt in the Heisman race.

You have answered your own question already...they haven't played a tough enough schedule to be ranked #1 or anywhere near that. If Hawaii played in any BCS conference they could maybe get 6 to 8 wins maximum. I commend them for going undefeated thus far, but their schedule will not allow them to be ranked higher.

Um, I think Kansas getting outplayed is an argument against Hawaii, don't you?

Absolutely yes ! I'm watching the mizzou/Kansas game and neither of these teams would overpower Hawaii. The W.A.C. needs to be inserted into the B.C.S.'s dirty little game. It's too bad nobody on the east coast has a V.C.R. so they never see Hawaii play. Now I get to hear, "I would watch it if it was worth watching der herr" Go Rainbow warriors!

If you gave Hawaii a schedule that looked like this:

LSU
Florida
Georgia
Tennesee
Kentucky
Mississippi
Mississippi State
Alabama
Auburn
Arkansas
South Carolina

They would be 5-6....
