i once had lunch on top of this mountain in it's resteraunt, but i can't remember what it was called.

Mount Mitchell is the tallest peak in North Carolina at 6684' elevation (also the highest peak in eastern U.S.)

The tallest mountain in NC is Mount Mitchell. It's a state park. There's a snack bar up there I think but not really a restaurant.
