A couple years ago I made ornaments as Christmas gifts and they were a huge hit.

I used medium sized metal rings from the craft section (the kind that hook together at the top, not an exclosed circle - like what you might use to make wine glass charms, only a larger size). Then I strung on beads and closed the hook at the top (wrap with thin wire if the hooks won't stay closed). Then, using the wire or fishing line I took a bead or pendant and tied to the top of the circle so the pendant hung to the middle of the circle. The I attached a Christmas tree hook and it was done!

They were easy, fairly inexpensive to make, and everyone loved them. I bet you could sell them anywhere from $1 each to $10+ for a set.

Did I explain that well enough? Email me if you want better directions!

You can make cinnamon dough ornaments.
They smell sooooooo goooood!!!! or you can go to a craft store and buy the wooden ones and paint them. Those are fun, but the cinnamon ones are much better! Dry some apples to go with the cinnamon dough ornaments and tie some homespun to it and PRESTO! Great fundraiser!

Use the clear ornaments that was already suggested (can be found at any crafting or big department stores) and put fake snow, or maybe gold, silver, white pine cones in them. Depending on how creative you are, you can put virtually anything in them (size permitting : ))

My friend & I bought Fimo and made gingerbread people. We bought brown & white clay to make the perfect shade of brown for gingerbread. Rolled out the Fimo thin like for cookies, used a cookie cutter in the shape of a gingerbread man, decorated them as girls & boys (bows for girls, bowties for the boys or whatever you want to use) We made the accessories out of different colours. We did put holes in the top so a ribbon could be strung through. Then you bake them like the Fimo package says & you're done. They turned out really cute. We also did yellow stars & white snowflakes. All cut out w/ cookie cutters.
