would you rather have a wife who was always down for sex or a wife who only gives it to you sometimes? i know what the obvious answer might be but think about it..if she only gave it up sometimes would it make those times more fun and special? would it be easier for you to get bored if she was always in the mood?

I would prefer someone that woule give it up once in awhile if it was all the time it would just get boring. Sometimes and well hot and spicy then it is much more enticing and well more enjoyable for both person's involved I think anybody would get tired of doing it day after day. It would start feeling like a job or a chore then sexual pleasure and enjoyment.

In a good marriage both parties respect the fact that the other partner is not always in the mood. That said, nothing kills a relationship faster than for one of the parties to feel like he (usually he) is having to beg for sex. What a turn-off being married to someone who likes a hearty roll in the hay about once every six months, and then expects you to lay the world at her feet in return for it.
I am like that other poster up there...my first wife was ok with sex before we married, then she gradually starting freezing up, no matter what I did. For that and MANY other reasons we got divorced and three years later I married my true love and when I'm hot she wants to do something about it! Always...well, almost always. ;)
Nothing builds a marriage better than good, spontaneous sex and a feeling between the partners that each want FREQUENT intimacy with the other. Nothing kills a marriage faster than a feeling by one of the partners that the other does not want intimacy with him. (Usually him.)
My current wife of six wonderful years loves the fact that she makes me hot....that's how it should be. Try walking in the front door and finding your adorable wife ready to tackle you on the floor and do you right there.....vs being married to someone who has let themselves get overweight and has a chip on her shoulder and a nasty attitude and a catty mouth...try coming home to that. Now, which would you prefer?
I am not dirty minded, but if I started listing the various places my current wife and I have had spontaneous, hot, fantastic sex you would think we are porno stars! We're not (we're both white collar professionals) but we have a lust for each other that is one (just one!) of the foundations of our relationship.
This as opposed to my ex who, when she would finally do it, wanted it done one way (missionary style) and wanted it over with as soon as possible and then she would run take a long hot shower. Yick. Oh, guess what, almost a decade later the ice cube is still not remarried and has not had a relationship lasting over a few months. Any guy who hooks up with her is soon gone...as fast as he can go.

Well, having had some experience in this, I have to say I would rather she wants sex 24/7, and we would both strive to make 2-5 times a week really spectacular....get both thinking all day about the various things to be done to each other, and have an amazingly active and incredibly satisfying sex life on a daily basis....
Why hold out? There is only one life to live......

No one likes to be turned down too many times and since you can't tell when it gets to that point you might be wiser to be willing more often than less often. What a lot of men think is if you make it too difficult they will just look elsewhere. Not right or nice but it happens.

No contest here --- 1st wife hardly ever, new wife whenever I/we want --- life with 1st wife was miserable (for so many reasons), life with new wife is 1000 times better (sexual intimacy is mind blowing and I know a BIG plus in the relationship).
