Impeachment is the process of bringing charges against a sitting president. So far only 2 president in US history have been successfully impeached: Bill Clinton and Andrew Jackson. After a president is impeached there is then a trial to see if he is guilty.
So in short, the answer is no.

No it does not. That is the job of the senate to do that. They didn't remove Clinton for a couple of reasons. It was almost the end of his term, by putting Al Gore in a VP would have made it more difficult for a republican to get voted in. So it was best to leave the worthless thug in and bash him to death.
