I like shopping at Hot Topic, but I need other places to shop for nice clothes but don't make me look too preppy. Would Pac Sun be on the preppy side or is it just mainly for skateboarders and snowboarders?

it has some semi preppy stuff but there is lots of stuff there thats not preppy. also try zumiez if you have one in your area,
h and m also has some clothes like at hot topic,
h and m has preppy clothes, dressy clothes and all kinds of clothes but you can still find a whole section there with stuff that is hot topic-ish.
i.e, black jeans tight skinny jeans,etc

Pac Sun has Surfer, Skater and So Cal type clothes. Casual and sporty.

pac sun is about the polar opposite of preppy. mostly it is considered skater/surfer/snowboarder style.

well its kinda preppy and kinda skater
but you can probably mix and match with hot topic and pac sun

I think it would fall under skaters/surfer.
Stores like Aeropostal and American Eagle are considered preppy.

They sell lame skate brands. They're not preppy, but I wouldn't shop there.

no im preppy but sometimes i go there for my tees when i feel the urge to be skatergirl like
so the store is like skate type

i think you would find things you like....sure there maybe be a few preppy pieces but not the whole store.

it has mostly a unique, punky, kinda preppy style
like it isnt goth, but it isnt abercrombie either
it has patterned clothes, surfer skater clothes girly clothes, tomboy, mostly a mixture of everythin

it's kind of like a california-style store. it's not very preppy at all.
