I have to do corrections for homework and I have no idea what this problem means.

The measure of an angle is five times the measure of its complement. What is the measure of the angle?

I know the answer is 75 supposely

let the angle be x

x + 5x = 90
6x = 90
x = 15
the other angle is 90-15=75
or 5x = 75

x=angle

x=5(90-x)

x=450-5x

6x=450

x=75

you were right
