I am pretty sure that I finally want to make the switch over from the 'all-windows' PCs to the world of Macs. I have my eyes on a macbook. The only questions is, when should I buy it. Pre-christmas; post-christmas; or give it a couple of months. I have read around the internet about apparent patents that apple has placed recently; that could potentially revolutionize computing as a whole. Something to do with touchscreen/keyboard size touchpads. But I do also know that Macbooks just recently got a hardware upgrade as well.

Why does Apple have to be so intuitive?

In all honesty since you have just missed the Black Friday specials with Apple i would wait till either Christmas or till Steve makes his announcements at MacWorld in January at the Moscone centre. After the announcements the "old" stock will be reduced by few hundred dollars to make way for the newer product lines which you will be wanting instead. ;)

Your referring to the MacBook Nano Touch which is rumored to be announced at MacWorld.
