pick up the block, run and jump into a giant Pepsi, effectively putting out the fire, the Pepsi will slowly dissolve the ice, and I'll drink the Pepsi.

Fire will melt ice in like two seconds.

My, you'd be in quite a pickle now, wouldn't you! I think I'd just rip my tongue off the ice. It would be less painful and would take less time for that to heal than all those third-degree burns would!
