I don't think candidate bashing is the way to go on YA or anywhere for that matter!

I love his PRO-Life position!

Dr. Paul; he has consistently voted the way I prefer on the Pro-Life issue!

I confident desire they don't and Paul made them look like total little ones. He changed into the purely individual up there speaking about actual subject matters and a thanks to handle them. Cain changed into all 999, both Ricks, and Romney were basically arguing like a group of faculty women.

Funny I thought losers were guys who don't know how to apply grammar to long winded pointless questions on Yahoo!Answers.

To my ill-informed friend "lovethatbabybrendon" above me in the answer column, Ron Paul is probably one of the toughest candidates on border control, with Duncan Hunter being the only possible exception. The following is right off of his website:

The talk must stop. We must secure our borders now. A nation without secure borders is no nation at all. It makes no sense to fight terrorists abroad when our own front door is left unlocked. This is my six point plan:

* Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
* Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
* No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
* No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
* End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
* Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

Here we go again...... KIZIAH, you apparently haven't listened, or haven't read what Dr. Paul said. Notice the words 'INTERVENE' and 'ISOLATE' below. I either missed the point, or wasted a few years of education.

Ron Paul on abortion:
"The right of an innocent, unborn child to life is at the heart of the American ideals of liberty. My professional and legislative record demonstrates my strong commitment to this pro-life principle.
In 40 years of medical practice, I never once considered performing an abortion, nor did I ever find abortion necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman.
In Congress, I have authored legislation that seeks to define life as beginning at conception, HR 1094.
I am also the prime sponsor of HR 300, which would negate the effect of Roe v Wade by removing the ability of federal courts to interfere with state legislation to protect life. This is a practical, direct approach to ending federal court tyranny which threatens our constitutional republic and has caused the deaths of 45 million of the unborn.
I have also authored HR 1095, which prevents federal funds to be used for so-called “population control.”
Many talk about being pro-life. I have taken direct action to restore protection for the unborn."

On foreign policy and war:
"Too often we give foreign aid and on behalf of
governments that are despised. Then, we become despised. Too often we have supported those who turn on us, like the Kosovars who aid Islamic terrorists, or the Afghan jihadists themselves, and their friend Osama bin Laden. We armed and trained them, and now we’re paying the price.
At the same time, . The generosity of the American people has been felt around the globe. Many have thanked God for it, in many languages. Let us have a strong America, conducting open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations".

People may choose to support Ron Paul because his positions match up to theirs. Just because you disagree, doesn't mean that he is, or his supporters are, a joke. In fact he has a growing base. I do not support him because I'm not a libertarian, but by no means do I discount him. Maybe if you payed attention in school not only would you learn puncuation, but also basic civics.

Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535” on Capitol Hill.

He's against abortion. I don't like it that some people have to have abortions, but that's their decision, not mine, and certainly not Ron Paul's.

He would also isolate our country from the rest of the world if he had his way. I think it's dangerous to do so.

Edit: Sorry Eyes, I still think he's a nut!

He's not the worst; just the most interesting to some people!
That said, you can relax; he's not going to get the nomination unless he switches to the Libertarian Party.
And the Libertarian Party isn't going to win the election!
So I guess we're left with putting our hopes and dreams in John Edwards, Bill Richardson, Barack Obama, et al.
