Wish she could talk to my brother who told us on his death bed that he wished he had stopped smoking. When she wants to quit be there to support her. Welbutrin in a Rx drug that is beneficial for people trying to quit. Whoopy Goldberg just quit on the great American smoke out day a week or so ago. Good luck to her, she is lucky to have such a caring friend.

Well like the person above me said you can never force someone to do something unless they want to. But you should really consider talking to her and telling her the after causes of what can happen. There can be some serious causes from smoking. Then if she still wants to keep going dont encourage but let her find her way or learn things for her own, cause you did all youu can .

You can't get people to stop doing anything unless they want to stop. Just make sure you're there when she decides she's done with smoking.
